About
I am a qualified Clinical Associate in Psychology (MSc, Merit) with extensive NHS experience translating complex psychological, clinical and scientific information into clear, accessible and evidence-based communications. Throughout my career in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), substance misuse services and psychological care, I have developed strong writing, analytical and communication skills, producing psychological formulations, clinical reports, psychoeducational resources, treatment materials and evidence-based guidance for diverse audiences including patients, families and multidisciplinary professionals.
My clinical background has equipped me with excellent research appraisal skills, a thorough understanding of evidence-based practice and experience interpreting and applying clinical guidelines to support decision-making. I have written and developed educational materials, contributed to the creation of an innovative CAMHS pathway for children and young people with tic disorders, delivered staff training, and collaborated with psychologists, psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to communicate complex concepts accurately and effectively.
I am highly organised, detail-oriented and accustomed to working in fast-paced environments where accuracy, professionalism and meeting deadlines are essential. My experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders has strengthened my ability to adapt content for different audiences while maintaining scientific integrity and an empathetic, patient-centred approach.
Key strengths include:
Medical and scientific writing
Translating complex clinical information into accessible content
Critical appraisal of research and evidence-based practice
Excellent written and verbal communication
Psychological assessment and formulation
Project collaboration and multidisciplinary working
Content development and psychoeducation
Clinical report writing
Stakeholder engagement
Attention to detail and quality assurance
Strong organisational and time management skills
I am now looking to transition into medical communications and medical copywriting, where I can combine my clinical knowledge, scientific literacy and passion for high-quality written communication to produce accurate, engaging and impactful content for healthcare professionals, patients and the wider public.
