Terms of Service

Welcome to MedComms.Jobs ("Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), forming a legally binding agreement between you and pobl.work ltd. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Company Information

MedComms.Jobs is owned and operated by pobl.work ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

2. Account Registration

To fully access the Platform and its features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

3. Job Credits & Refunds

We aim to provide flexibility for your hiring needs. Please note the following specific terms regarding job credits:

  • Validity: Unused job credits are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • Refunds: No refunds are offered for unused job credits.

4. Subscriptions & Event Access

For 12-month subscriptions that include access to careers events (e.g., 1 virtual, 1 in-person event), the following terms apply:

  • Events are intended to be utilized within the active subscription period.
  • If an offered event falls outside of your subscription period, your access will roll over to the next available careers event.
  • Alternatively, job advertising credits equivalent to the value of the event exhibition may be added to your company profile instead.

5. Job Listings

As a User, you may have the ability to post job listings on the Platform. You agree that all job listings you post will be accurate, lawful, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for the content of your job listings and any consequences arising from posting inaccurate or misleading information.

6. Job Applications

As a User applying for jobs through the Platform, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information in your application materials. MedComms.Jobs is not responsible for the hiring decisions of employers using the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of job listings, and we encourage Users to exercise caution and conduct their own due diligence.

7. User Content

The Platform may allow you to post, submit, or upload content, including but not limited to resumes, cover letters, and job listings ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by providing it to us, you grant MedComms.Jobs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with the Platform's operation and promotion.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform's functionality. You also agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Use the Platform to post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Harass, intimidate, or threaten other Users or MedComms.Jobs personnel.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other Users' accounts.
  • Use automated means, including bots, spiders, or scrapers, to access the Platform or collect User information.
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.

9. Privacy & GDPR Compliance

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information about our Users.

By using MedComms.Jobs, all users (both employers and candidates) agree to comply with their legal duties under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant legislation applicable to their jurisdiction.

10. Modifications to the Platform

MedComms.Jobs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without prior notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Platform without liability or notice.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold MedComms.Jobs, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEDCOMMS.JOBS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

14. Changes to the Terms

MedComms.Jobs may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Effective Date" at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
