About
I am a medical writer focused on health policy, digital health and equitable patient access. I help organisations translate complex health and policy information into clear, patient centred content.
My work focuses on translating complex health information into clear, accessible and patient centred content. I am particularly interest in areas where people are often under informed or undeserved, including hormonal health, menstrual health and substance use and recovery.
Alongside my writing, I bring an understanding of health systems, service pathways and the barriers people face when trying to access care. My experience in care settings, combined with personal insight into the impact of substance use, allows me to approach sensitive topics with empathy, clarity and responsibility.
I am especially interested in the intersection of health and technology, including how digital health tools, AI and policy decisions shape access to care and patient outcomes.
My current work includes:
- Policy commentary on NHS work force and education frameworks
- Patient facing health guides designed to improve understanding and access
- Evidence- informed articles translating research into public facing content
- Patient education articles on hormonal health and reproductive wellbeing
- Public health focused content on substance use, recovery and access to services
- Writing that explores gaps in health literacy and inequalities in care.
- Analysis of digital health and AI in global health systems.
My work sits at the intersection of:
- Medical writing
- Health policy
- Digital health and AI in healthcare
I am open to freelance writing opportunities, collaborative projects and entry level opportunities in medical communications.
