Medical Writer (MW)
Role overview requirements
The core responsibilities of a Medical Writer are to develop high-quality content for scientific materials that meets our clients needs. The role involves working on a variety of different project types where you will be required to conduct QC (date and reference) checks, external liaison (attend client meetings and communicate with external experts), apply knowledge of relevant therapy areas, understand how projects are costed and deliver allocated tasks to budget, attend training sessions (client and Helios) and more.
What we are looking for:
- MSc or PhD in a pharmacology/pharmacy, medicine, biomedical/biological sciences discipline
- We occasionally offer graduate Medical Writer roles to outstanding BSc-level candidates
- 1 – 1.5 years medical writing experience within a medical communications agency
- Very good editorial/writing skills
- Very good organisational skills
- Very good attention to detail
- Good team-working ability
- Very good time management
- Good problem-solving skills
- Very good communication skills
The successful candidate will possess a 'can-do' attitude and be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
